A New Tax System for Managed Investment Trusts – Submission on Draft Legislation and Draft Explanatory Memorandum

One Investment Group is pleased to provide a submission on:

(a)        Exposure Draft – Tax Laws Amendment (New Tax System for Managed Investment Trusts) Bill 2015; and

(b)        Exposure Draft – Managed Investment Trusts – Explanatory Material for the Bill.

As the trustee and/or investment manager of numerous Managed Investment Trusts (MITs) we have submitted our paper to Treasury  to provide Treasury with industry feedback on the proposed changes to the taxation of MITs. The objective of our submission is to address matters which are of particular relevance to One Investment Group and our clients.
