Marcus Elsum

Marcus has in excess of twenty years’ experience in managing and driving the development of small, medium and large businesses both in Australia and internationally. His experience includes senior roles in funds management, commercial finance and broking, investment banking, capital markets and chartered accounting.
Marcus has spent the last three years establishing Greenway Capital, a funds management and advisory business focusing on residential property funds management, credit opportunity funds, mezzanine debt and private equity advisory services.
Previously, Marcus was the Chief Operating Officer of Ashe Morgan Winthrop, a dominant player in commercial property finance. He spent 10 years with UBS in various roles in Sydney, Tokyo and New York including Head of Structured Finance Debt Capital Markets Sydney, Director Asset and Principal Finance Tokyo and Director of Debt Capital Markets. Marcus has also worked for Credit Suisse First Boston and Arthur Andersen.
Marcus holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, has completed the company directors course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Chartered Accountant.
